It was 'total luxury' for us last week at the 1000 Islands National Park.  We stayed in their new oTENTik's, spending two nights on McDonald Island and two nights on Gordon Island.  I feared that they would be dirty and full of rodents and other such creatures, but they proved to be absolutely spotless and totally free of any unwelcome guests.  Outside there was a great covered space for cooking, chairs for relaxing, a high tech Phoenix Composting Toilet for, well you know, and even a snappy silver safe box for food to save all the hanging nonsense.  I almost felt a little guilty at times............almost.
